1. Scope
This policy provides general guidance. The payment and cancellation terms stated in a signed proposal, quotation, statement of work or service agreement take priority for that engagement.
2. Before work begins
A cancellation request should be submitted in writing. If work has not begun and no third-party cost has been committed, Rankupar will review any refund request after deducting applicable payment charges, administrative work or non-recoverable expenses.
3. After work begins
Deposits, retainers and milestone payments are generally applied to reserved capacity, strategy, research, setup and completed work. Once these activities begin, payments relating to work performed or capacity reserved are normally non-refundable.
4. Advertising and third-party charges
Advertising media spend, hosting, domains, software, licences, subscriptions, gateway charges, marketplace fees and other third-party payments are governed by the relevant provider and are not refundable by Rankupar once incurred.
5. Monthly and recurring services
Cancellation notice for retainers or recurring services must follow the notice period in the applicable agreement. Work already scheduled or completed during the current billing period remains payable.
6. Delays, inactivity and rescheduling
If a project is delayed because required content, access, approval or feedback is not provided, timelines may be rescheduled. Extended inactivity may require a restart fee or new schedule depending on team availability.
7. Cancellation by Rankupar
If Rankupar cancels an engagement without completing the agreed work, any refund will be assessed against work completed, expenses incurred, third-party commitments and deliverables already supplied.
8. Requesting a review
Send cancellation or refund requests to contact@rankupar.com with the client name, project or invoice reference, reason and relevant details. Approved refunds, if any, will be processed through a reasonable available method and may take time to appear depending on the payment provider.
